If you like the contemporary home, then this place is not for you because I made the huge mistake of building a stone and stucco house with a tile roof, and you will definitely hate this place. I planted over 425 mature trees in the last 20 years and thus if you don’t like trees you’ll again hate this place. Of course you can always chop them down and have lots of firewood. Double gated entries from 2 different directions is a very bad thing and you will run away from this property. 30,000 square feet of heated and finished shop space is the biggest waist of resources known to man. You may ask yourself why would someone build such a place with all this shop space? Obviously an idiot. But I love classic cars and my collection got out of hand. I know people hate views of valleys and mountains, and because this property has both, it’s practically worthless. Driving to your house in the country is best when your cruising along on those gravel washboard and muddy roads, but you will be very disappointed that this property is located 4 miles west of Castle Rock on a paved road and further to deteriorate from the value is the driveway is fully concreted. To make matters worse, I put in stamped concrete in the driveway and several patio’s and gazebo. The idiot continued his mistakes. The house is finished in full thickness alder wood doors and trim. I know what your saying. Who does that? People want painted MDF and poplar wood. Hollow core doors is where it’s at. Five and half inch alder stained crown molding is an eye sore for sure. Brazilian hardwood floors is a deal killer. All this is sitting on 20 acres and is a very bad thing. Who wants to take care of such a big property? Nobody. And to round things out is this horrible dump has high speed internet, 4 pounds of natural gas coming from 2 different directions, full line voltage right on the property so if you loose your head and buy this place you can have more of all of the above. Don’t walk away from this property, run as fast as you can. If you feel like you want to make the critical mistake and inquire about this dump, take 2 aspirin and see if the feeling goes away.
